As the California Legislation debates on minimum wage increase, we unfortunately have to go back and tighten up certain company policy that we were lax on and that cost the company money. 3/15/2016 If you noticed a trend in the ISS show this year, it would definitely have to be in the vinyl world.  Vinyl is hot with so many new applications and films. It’s changing the industry just like DTG did a few years ago. We have always offered vinyl service, but never had a clear- cut definition on pricing and guidelines. Time is flying like normal. We’re moving to our spring schedule, which is one of our busier times of the year.   2/9/16 As many of you know, and some don’t, we have recently updated our screen printing and embroidery price lists due to many factors. Minimum wage increased, our vendors’ yearly 3- 5% increase, and electrical cost almost doubled compared to 5 years ago, etc. We had a month to work within the new pricelist and we are making some changes on it. 2/2/15 We just purchased an ASPE Rapid Tag machine, 1 color today. We are excited to add this to our arsenal of printing methods. If you haven’t heard of this amazing machine, check out some of the YouTube videos that are out there. We’re going to get this press running soon and experiment with our in-house jobs before offering it to the brokers. This press will specialize in 1 color print in a small area, mostly tag prints and sleeve hits. It

Winter Schedule 2016 Now until March 1st As everyone in this business knows, after Christmas there is a dip in business for most brokers. This will affect production and production time. Date 1/4/2016 Last week we sent off a letter to all our brokers letting them know that because of the State of California Minimum Wage increase and the yearly price increase of supplies, we had no choice but to increase our prices slightly. We are looking at around 8-10% for screen printing and 10%-15% for embroidery. At this moment, DTG pricing will stay the same.
