SanMar PSST

We’re excited to announce that J6 Designs has been approved for the SanMar PSST program! This means you can now drop-ship items directly to us without needing to “fill in” $200 worth of apparel to qualify for free shipping. There are additional benefits to the PSST program, which are outlined in the attached flyers.
With this program, there are a few updates to our broker policies:
- We will handle precounts only for items shipped via the PSST program. Drop-shipping through other vendors or SanMar (without PSST) or dropping off items at the lobby will continue under the old policy, without precounts.
- If garments are shipped through the PSST program without placing an order directly with us, a $5 picking fee will apply. This fee will be waived for items sent as samples for jobs we are printing — just email us, and we’ll set the items aside for you.
We recognize this will be a learning process for all of us and appreciate your patience as we adapt to the new system. This page will serve as the main reference for updates, as details may evolve over time.

We asked kindly that in the PO section you fill in the SanMar match exact the PO you use when you send the order.
We would like the an abbreviation of what department it belongs too. “SP” = Screen Printing , “Emb” = Embroidery, “Fin” = Finishing/Fulfillment, “HT” = Heat transfer/DTF . If the job has multiple department embellishment please use a combination like “PONAME – SP EMB HT” for a job that screen printing and embroidery and Heat Transfer.
Just a reminder, the cutoff time is now 2:00 PM PST. In the past, we all would had to wait until just before 3:00 PM to close orders in order to maximize shipments. With the PSST program, that is no longer necessary. Please place orders as soon as possible—whether it’s for 1 piece or 1,000 pieces, it doesn’t make a difference.

When they place orders on SanMar.com, they need to follow these steps each time or their orders will not ship via PSST:
- They must select your address from the saved address list on the left side of the screen of the checkout process. They can add an attention line but must not alter any other part of the address.
- After selecting your address and possibly adding an attention line, they’ll want to click on “Confirm Address” so that the system will then add the PSST default ship via under Shipping Method. Let them know that they won’t see a freight estimate or an ETA…that’s normal for PSST shipping. They do not want to select any other option.
- Click on “Proceed To Payment”
If they do those steps correctly, the order should show no freight costs on the next screen. Let them know if they see a freight estimate (even “Freight Saving”) they’ll want to stop right there and reach out to you so you can inform me that that something is not working properly.
If they submit their orders via email, their emailed PO must have your address listed in the correct format:

The address must be exactly as listed above…the only thing they can vary on is the zip code. If they don’t want to include the 4-digit extension, that’s OK. The rest must be exactly as listed…including the “Ste F” listed on the 2nd address line by itself.
Also, I strongly recommend that they list the ship via on their PO’s as “PSST” to be safe. Even though the address as listed above will automatically trigger PSST as the default ship via, if the customer lists anything else, the rep keying the order might override the PSST ship via in error.
- When placing orders online select Ship Via: PSST Program
- Communicate to shared customers they must also add your exact Ship To address into their drop ship address book and select Ship Via: PSST Program at checkout.
- When you or your customers are placing orders by email or phone to this address you must inform us to Ship Via: PSST.
- Your PSST orders will ship via Parcel (UPS) 1 Day Delivery, with individual orders weighing more than 500lbs. shipping Truck (R&L) 1 Day Delivery.
- If you use a Ship Via other than PSST, SanMar’s regular freight policy will apply.
- When adding new customers to your network, please reach out to your AE to verify your ship to address has been added to your customers address book correctly.
- If you need to ship expedited, please reach out to your Account Executive, or change to your choice of Ship Via online. Freight charges will apply.
- Orders shipping same day via PSST should be submitted to SanMar at least 1 hour prior to your standard carrier cutoff time based on the cutoff schedule for your default PSST warehouse.
- We strive to get shipments to you as quickly as possible. However, arrival times are not guaranteed.
