17. Production Status, Communication & Order Follow-Up
J6 Designs communicates with brokers primarily through electronic methods, including email, Where’s My Job (WMJ), and other digital platforms. While these systems are reliable, email delivery may occasionally be affected by spam filters, internet service providers, software issues, or other circumstances beyond either party’s control.
Because broker orders are placed on behalf of the broker’s customer, it is the broker’s responsibility to actively monitor the status of each order and ensure it is progressing in accordance with the customer’s required deadlines. Brokers should not assume an order is in production without receiving the appropriate confirmations from J6 Designs.
Brokers are responsible for promptly following up if they have not received expected communications, including but not limited to:
- Invoice or payment request
- Artwork proof or approval request
- Order confirmation
- Production updates
- Shipping confirmation and tracking information
J6 Designs provides multiple tools to assist brokers in monitoring their orders, including complimentary access to WheresMyJob.com (WMJ). Brokers are strongly encouraged to utilize these resources to verify the status of their orders throughout the production process.
If expected communication has not been received within a reasonable timeframe, it is the broker’s responsibility to contact J6 Designs before the requested ship date or in-hands date. Failure to do so does not constitute negligence or delay on the part of J6 Designs.
J6 Designs shall not be responsible for production delays, expedited production costs, overnight/expedited shipping charges, refunds, discounts, or other expenses resulting from missed communications, spam filtering, undelivered emails, or the broker’s failure to monitor the order or follow up on its status.
By submitting an order, the broker acknowledges and accepts responsibility for monitoring order progress and agrees to use the communication tools and order tracking resources provided by J6 Designs throughout the production process.
