We were asked a great question today and I thought be a good time share our answer. We offer Additional QC service as part of our finishing/fulfillment service. The question that was asked, “Can you let me know the process difference between your Normal QC and this Additional QC?”

Our Normal QC process occurs immediately after the garments come off the dryer. The catcher has 1-3 seconds to inspect each piece for stains, damages, misalignment, etc. If any issues are spotted, they will attempt to fix them before stacking the garment and moving on. This level of QC is included within the wholesale printing cost and is optimized for production speed.

For Additional QC, once the initial inspection is complete, the garments are sent to our Finishing Department for a more thorough review. Here, an independent team takes 5-20 seconds per piece to inspect for stains, damages, misalignment or manufacturing defects. This deeper independent inspection allows us to catch more issues and correct them before your customers receive the final product. This service is charge by the amount of labor it uses.

If any damages are found, both departments will attempt to fix them before determining whether the garment is repairable or considered defective.

If you ever have a project that needs an extra set of eyes on it, we would be more than happy to help on that.
